Sunny Weather and PJ Day
Mon 22 May 2023Morning all,
I hope you had a lovely weekend in the sunshine.
Please can you make sure your children have a sun hat or cap and that they have sun tan lotion applied before school? It’s due to be sunny all week ☀️
It really helps if their hats have their name inside too.
Don’t forget we have PJ day on Friday and also our baby and toddler group.
We also have Class 1-3 assemblies this week.
It’s a busy one as we lead up to half term.

Pyjama Day Friday 26th May
Wed 17 May 2023Afternoon all,
Next Friday ( May 26th) the PTA are holding a pyjama day in school.
All the children and staff can wear their pyjama, or dressing gowns etc to school for a suggested donation of £1.
As you know, money raised by the PTA covers lots of lovely things for the children. At the moment we are concentrating on subsidising buses for trips as they are so expensive.

Little Nutkins Play Session

Due to the success of our messy play baby and toddler group we are delighted to run our next session on Friday 26th May 10.30-11.30.
Based on the feedback from the last one, there will be two areas available.
One for non mobile babies and then a separate area for mobile babies and toddlers.

Coronation Party Day

King Charles III Coronation Celebrations
Tue 02 May 2023Morning all,
I hope everyone had a lovely long weekend!
This Friday we will be celebrating King Charles III Coronation in school.
The children can wear their own clothes, trying to stick to the colours of red, white and blue.
In the afternoon we will hold Coronation Parties, in the park or classrooms depending on the weather.
Could you please send them with an extra drink and a couple of snacks for the parties.

Little Nutkins Play Session
Thu 27 Apr 2023We had a wonderful turn out for the baby/toddler group today. It was great to welcome Little Nutkins and everyone to our school. The babies and toddlers loved the sensory activities.
It was lovely to read the feedback written about our lovely school , staff and pupils. -
Year 4 & Class 5 Swimming
Wed 26 Apr 2023Afternoon all Y4 and Class 5,
Just a reminder that swimming needs to be paid for by the end of this week ready for them to start next week.
I realise £26 is a lot of money but we phoned a number of bus companies and it was the cheapest quote.
£26 is £2 per day for the bus.
School has already subsidised this considerably. The bus is costing £1600 and if all parents pay we will bring in around £900. The rest is being paid by the school.
