Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
Dear Parent/guardian,
Thank you to those who submitted a consent form for your child to receive their Flu nasal vaccination in school. The uptake in your school this year is 50% to date, therefore will leave a large number of children unprotected against flu. If you HAVE NOT completed a consent form, it is not too late for your child to have this vaccine.
Please follow the link to complete a consent from and for further information:

Morning all,
Please remember if your child isn’t going on the trip they must still come to school. There are activities prepared for them linked to their topic.
Ice skaters don’t forget those gloves and a woolly hat! It’s cold on the ice 🧊 and have a great day!
A week today is our Harvest Festival and as usual we will be collecting for our local food banks. Please can you pop one extra tin, pack of pasta or rice in your shopping this week?
Many thanks,
Mrs Beard-Robbins
ESTYN Inspection
Morning all,
On behalf of the whole team we would like to thank our parents/carers and pupils for all of their support this week during our inspection.
The children were amazing!
Our inspection report will be published on November 25th and until then the findings are confidential.
It was a very positive experience and I look forward to being able to share the report with you in November.
Have a lovely weekend!
Mrs Beard-Robbins
Final reminder -
Non uniform and crazy hair/hat day tomorrow!
Don’t forget your £1 donations for PTA ☺️
Morning all,
It’s the last day parents/carers can bring in permission slips and money for Class 4, 6, 7 and 8 trips.
Watch this space Classes 1-3 and 5 as your trip news will be coming out soon!
Many thanks,
Mrs Beard-Robbins
Morning all,
If your child is off school unwell please could you message Mrs Reardon our attendance officer. Mrs Reardon has rung a few parents/carers this morning and these parents had sent messages to the class teacher already.
The trouble we have is that if the teachers are teaching your children they can’t check their messages until lunch. It would really help if you sent a message to Mrs Reardon. ☺️
Finally don’t forget Friday is crazy hair/hat day with a suggested donation of £1 to PTA.
Many thanks,
Mrs Beard-Robbins
Morning all,
As we have previously shared our ESTYN inspection is next week. It starts at midday on Monday and finishes on Wednesday evening. We are all really looking forward to showing the inspection team our wonderful pupils and community.
Can I please remind you that there is a meeting for parents/carers in the school hall at 3.30pm on Monday with a couple of the inspectors where you will have chance to share what you think the school does well. They may also ask some questions as a result of what came out of the parent questionnaires. It would be really good if we had a decent turn out at the meeting. During the meeting we are able to look after school children for you. Sadly, we can’t look after babies/toddlers but you can take them with you. These meetings don’t usually take too long.
If anyone has any questions, please just drop me a dojo.
Have a lovely weekend all!
Mrs Beard-Robbins
Dear Parent/Guardian,
The school nursing service are at school today offering pupils a nasal flu spray vaccine. Consents can still be completed today.
The NHS recommends that your child has a flu vaccination every year.
It’s very important to protect your child from flu to make sure they stay as healthy as possible. The best flu vaccine for most children is a nasal spray. This is the vaccine that will be given today.
The online consent form and additional information can be found here: https://linktr.ee/schoolfluab
To help make sure the vaccine is suitable for your child, and they don’t miss out, please take time to read the information and follow the link to complete the electronic consent form. Consent can still be given today for the vaccine.
Should you have any difficulties accessing the above link, please contact 01633 431685 for further support.

Morning all,
Two reminders for today for you. Sporty clothes for the children and flu nasal spray with the nursing team.
We have no lollipop lady today. As soon as I knew last night I emailed the local authority to see if they can find some cover for the rest of the week. We will keep you updated.
Many thanks,
Mrs Beard-Robbins
