    Good evening,

  • Race For Life

    Fri 25 Jun 2021

    Evening all,

After a difficult week I feel a little bit emotional and overwhelmed to have just been told that so far in sponsor money we have raised over £4000 for cancer research. It’s a charity very close to my own heart which makes it all the more poignant.

That is completely amazing and I cannot thank you all enough.

I know there’s still some more money to come in.

Our school and community are amazing.

Lovely news to finish the week.

  • Update on Mrs Fraser's Class

    Fri 25 Jun 2021

    Morning all,

Unfortunately I have just been notified that a 3rd learner in Mrs Fraser’s class has tested positive.

Thankfully at the moment the pupils are either non symptomatic or just a bit under the weather.

Please keep an eye on your children and if you are worried book a PCR test at a testing centre.

Lateral flow tests are not as reliable, especially once children become symptomatic even with just a runny nose or minor symptoms.

I am available to answer questions, as usual through dojo today and both Helena and Claire can help if you ring school.

    Best wishes,

    Mrs Robbins

  • Mrs Fraser's Class to Return Monday 5th June

    Thu 24 Jun 2021

    Morning again Mrs Fraser’s Class,

I have just been told that another child has tested positive yesterday who was in school on Tuesday therefore your isolation will now run until the end of Friday July 2nd. Children will return on July 5th.

    Thank you,

    Mrs Robbins

  • Mrs Fraser’s class remains closed due to positive coronavirus case

    Thu 24 Jun 2021

    Good morning all,

Mrs Fraser’s class will remain closed as the pupil has tested positive.

This means ALL pupils and staff in that class MUST self isolate for the required length of time.  I will update on the date the self isolation is over later today although I believe it is 10 days from Monday meaning the class will return next Friday 2nd July.

These children / staff should not leave the house in order to comply with government guidelines. There’s no need for any of you to get your children tested unless they start displaying any symptoms. Please let us know if this becomes the case and any results.

Miss Pyle’s nursery and reception can return to school today as the younger sibling was negative. Obviously this sibling won’t be in school and will also be required to self isolate.

I thank you for your patience with this matter. It shows that closing yesterday was the right thing to do in this circumstance. We are all just trying to do the best for our children, their families and staff.

    kindest regards,

    Mrs Robbins

Who is more excited? The children or the parents ?

We are really looking forward to our six week term with your children and hoping this lovely weather keeps up so we can do lots of outdoor learning.

Please make sure your children have sun cream on and whilst it’s so warm a sun hat/baseball cap would be a good idea.

    Thank you,

    Mrs Robbins
