A huge thank you to the PTA and staff for the discos last night - they were a massive success!
Have a wonderful half term all!

Morning all,
Open Classrooms continue today with:
Miss Clark 9.20-10.20

Big thank you to everyone who came yesterday. It was so lovely to see the classrooms full of parents/carers supporting their children and the school.
Mrs Beard-Robbins
Morning all,
It’s Open Classroom week and we start today with Mr Lewis at 9.20 and Miss Mansell at 2pm.
The teachers would love to see as many of you as possible. Just a reminder that due to the size of the classrooms we can only accommodate one parent/carer per child.
Many thanks,
Mrs Beard-Robbins
Good afternoon,
This is a polite reminder that children should not be bringing toys, or other items from home, into school.
It can be upsetting if a child’s toy gets lost or broken. School can not accept responsibility for items not permitted on school site.
Thank you for your continued support.
Mrs Seamons
Morning all,
At some point today I will be doing a lockdown drill with the children.
Honestly, I’ve been putting it off whilst trying to think of a way to make as calm and not frightening for the children as possible.
For the children we are going to call it a ‘ Stay Safe’ drill and talk about situations like a cross dog on the yard or some sort of gas leak in the community.
They will hear the alarm and then classroom doors will be closed, any children outside will be brought in and we will lock main gate.
In reality, all schools in Caerphilly are now required to do this drill in case of any emergency requiring schools to lock down.
There were two local schools that needed to lockdown a few weeks ago. I’m sure you will also have seen similar things on the news.
If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to message me.
Kindest regards,
Mrs Beard-Robbins
Don’t forget to wear you Welsh clothes today or Welsh colours ( red. white, green).
Morning all,
It’s Diwrnod Shwmae tomorrow! This means everyone can wear Welsh clothes or Welsh colours ( red, white, green). There’s no charge to this, it’s just to celebrate everything Welsh!
Many thanks,
Mrs Beard-Robbins
