Grant Planning 2025-2026

 

Pupil Deprivation Grant

 

The school receives a pupil deprivation grant which is related to the number of pupils in the school eligible for free school meals. The school currently has approximately 30% of pupils in this category.

 

The school undertakes the following activities in order to support pupils facing the challenges of poverty and deprivation:

  • Support staff within Foundation Phase to support teaching and learning
  • An attendance and well-being officer to support families and learners
  • Literacy and numeracy interventions in KS2 and FP
  • Additional IT equipment to support learning in school and learning at home

 

 

The school's grant plans are signed off  by the Governing Body, supported by advice from the EAS and monitored by the Local Authority.

As a school we are committed to professional learning for all our staff and are working towards our school becoming a learning community. We produce a professional learning plan that shows how we plan to spend the money we receive for professional learning.  All Professional Learning is logged by the Professional Learning Lead (Miss Pyle).  This is regularly reported to our Governing Body and the LA.
