Half Term

Mrs Mansell’s class assembly today at 2pm. The gate will be opened at 1.50pm.

As usual dojo won’t be monitored after 4pm today until the Monday morning when the children come back to school.

In September our classes will be as follows:
Nursery morning only (8.50-11.30) - Mrs L Williams and Mrs James
Class 1 (Reception and Y1) - Miss Pyle and Mrs Hosier
Class 2 (Y1 and Y2) - Mrs Seamons and Mrs Shepherd
Class 3 (Y2 and Y3) - Miss Mansell and Miss Morris
Class 4 (Y3 and Y4) - Miss Clark
Class 6 (Y4 and Y5) - Mrs Lloyd
Class 7 (Y5) - Mr Lewis
Class 8 (Y6) - Mr Regulski
PPA Teacher - Mrs C Williams
Support Staff (class 4-8) Mrs Pritchard, Mrs Cornwell and Mrs James.
Class 5 and 5a will remain with the same staffing for our two Local Authority Complex Needs Bases.
The children will be told which class they are in on Thursday June 27th which is move up day.
Thanks to those of you who came to the meetings about this. I know many of you found it helpful.
Also please note.... there is school this Friday. It is not an INSET Day.

Monday - PTA Bouncy Castle Day, you must have returned the money of £3 for your first child and £1 for any siblings. You can still send this in tomorrow.
Tuesday - Class Photographs for all classes and Y6 Leavers Photographs

Wednesday - 2pm Mrs Lloyd’s Class Assembly
Thursday - 2pm Mr Lewis’ Class Assembly
Friday - 2pm Miss Mansell’s Class Assembly

PTA Bouncy Castle
Thu 16 May 2024Morning all,
Letters will be coming home today reminding you it’s PTA bouncy castle on Monday. All of the classes will have a slot on the bouncy castle and then squash and biscuits afterwards.
It’s £3 per child but if you have more than one child in school you only pay £1 for each other child. So for example if you have 3 children the cost would be £5 in total.
Please support this event. If everyone supports the event we would raise over £900 which would then help PTA continue to make donations to things like buses for trips, Y6 leavers events and more scooters for our yards.

Good afternoon all
As you are aware one of our SCP’s sited at your school has recently resigned from their post. We have been undertaking the necessary assessments which is protocol when an SCP resigns or retires.
The process took longer than we would have liked due to additional data being required to enable the final result to be concluded, which was required from a third party. However, I am pleased to inform you that the site has met the criteria required and in view of this, we have started the recruitment process for this vacancy.
In light of the difficulties that we have encountered with the recruitment of SCPs across the borough, I would encourage you to share this information with anyone that you know who may be interested in applying for the job. As soon as the advert is live, I will forward you the link to enable you to share the vacancy details.
I trust that you will welcome the positive steps that the Council has taken and we will ensure you are notified of developments going forward.

Gardening Helpers - Thank You!
Fri 10 May 2024A HUGE Thank you to the parent/carer helpers in the garden this afternoon. You all worked incredibly hard in very hot temperatures. The garden is looking better and we’re so excited to get it all bright and beautiful again!

Help Improving Outdoor Spaces

As the weather is finally improving, we are trying to continue the ongoing work to improve our main garden and other outdoor spaces.
However, we only have a very limited budget and could really do with some help!!
We are looking for evergreen shrubs, flowering plants, Climbing plants, patio containers, decorative piece such as mirrors, ornaments, wall art.
