  • The Quad play equipment on the Foundation Phase Yard

    Wed 03 May 2017

The children are now happily using the quad play equipment on the infant yard during the school day. We have to keep it closed outside of the school day for Health and Safety reasons. It is open from 9-3.15 and used regularly by all the classes.

We would really appreciate your help in ensuring the children don't play on it before and after school.

We also now have some new soft landing material underneath the part of the quad where the drop is the largest.

If you have any further questions about this, please come in and see us.

    Thank you.

  • ESTYN Inspection

Mon 27 Mar 2017 Mrs Robbins

    Dear all,

We have received notification that we will be inspected by a team of ESTYN inspectors from May 8th-11th. We will be sending a letter home this week and posting on this website a link for you to access a parent questionnaire. Please can we ask all of you to take the time to fill these in as they are a really important part of the Inspection and your views are important. Some of the children in the Juniors will also be filling in questionnaires for the inspection during school time. The deadline for all questionnaires is April 6th, so they all need to be done by the time we finish for Easter.

During the first day of the Inspection (May 8th) there will be a meeting for parents with the inspectors at 3.45pm in the Junior School Hall. We will provide a crèche type facility for any parents who would like to attend but have younger children. This will be in the Nursery. Any parents who wish to attend and have children in the school we will provide care for them in one of the Y3/4 classrooms. We really hope that as many of you as possible will be able to attend.

We are all looking forward to the inspection and are sure our children will impress them!

The inspection will be taking place during National Test Week for Y2-6 but the tests will run as normal during this time.

    Thank you!

  • French Club for Y5

Wed 01 Mar 2017 Mrs Robbins

It is time for Y5 to start French Club. If you filled in a permission form at the start of the year your child automatically has a place.

This will take place on a Wednesday after school from 3.15-4pm. This will start for Y5 pupils on Wednesday March 15th and run until the end of the summer term.
