  Afternoon all,
  
  We had a great day back in school. The teachers were so pleased to see all the smiling faces coming back to school.
  
  Can I remind you that during this circuit breaker you, or someone from your household must collect your children from school unless you have contacted me with a particular individual case.
  
  I have had several parents message me this evening who are frustrated with keeping to the rules and seeing others who are not. It is really difficult for staff to monitor this and so we need your cooperation.
  
  I appreciate this is a really difficult time, especially in this awful weather.

• Message From Mrs Robbins Regarding Christmas

  Morning all,
  
  We had a really positive staff meeting after school last night where we started discussing how we can make Christmas special for our children this year whilst staying within the guidelines in school.
  
  Staff has some great ideas including Christmas bubble parties, Christmas films and popcorn, Christmas dress up day, Santa’s online visits and possibly making Christmas videos to post here.
  
  We always welcome parents ideas so please send your child’s teacher a message if you have any ideas you would like us to consider.

• Cleaning Job @ Cwmcarn Primary

  We are looking for a cleaner 11.30-1.30 after half term. The advert is on Caerphilly’s website.
  
  This would be a lovely job for someone who wants just a few hours a week. It’s 10hrs per week at £9.40 per hour with a 6 month contract.

• Pupil Absence

  Good Afternoon,
  
  Please can I ask that, if your child is unwell and absent from school, that you message me directly on dojo with reasons for absence.
  
  This ensures that I don't miss messages that are being sent by parents to teaching staff, and asking parents for the information a second time.
  
  Due to our current situation with Covid-19, I am marking the registers daily for staff as I have to submit our attendance to the authority by 1:00pm each day.
