    Tue 02 Jul 2024

A huge thank you to our parents/carers who support our PTA and PTA events, and also to our PTA for organising some lovely new t-shirts so when our children represent the school they really look smart.

    Thank you!

  • Education Advisory Service

    Tue 02 Jul 2024

The EAS (Education Advisory Service) has been working with various schools in the area to produce Case Study videos.

As the school improvement service of the five local authorities in South East Wales: Blaenau Gwent, Caerphilly, Monmouthshire, Newport and Torfaen, the Educational Achievement Service (EAS) is committed to supporting and enabling schools and educational settings to thrive as effective learning organisations, learning from each other and the wider community and this film demonstrates this clearly.

    Our school participated in this and our video can be seen by clicking the link below;

    Wed 26 Jun 2024

    Morning all,

It is going to be very hot today so please make sure the children have water bottles, hats and sun tan lotion applied.

It might be sensible to wear school t shirts and shorts and other cooler uniform choices.

I would like to thank you all for your support of our Sports Days. They are all finished now and all went brilliantly.

    Thank you!

    Morning all,

It’s Y3/4 and Class 5 Sports Day today at 10 o’clock. The children are really looking forward to it!

Please can we ask all parents/carers to stay off the track, other than the parents/carers of class 5 who have been asked to stand on the track when their children are racing to help them stay focused and in their lanes.

    Many thanks,

    Mrs Robbins

  • Yr 5 / 6 Sport's Day Tomorrow

    Mon 17 Jun 2024

    Good afternoon,

    Don’t forget it’s Y5 and Y6 Sport’s Day tomorrow.

They will be going down to the field at approximately 9.30 and aiming for roughly a 9.40 start.

Please make sure they have a drinks bottle for their water, some sun tan lotion on and a cap in case it’s hot. They can come to school in their kit/colours. The children all know which colour they are in.

Can I please ask all parents/carers to stay behind the track and not cross the track to see the children. You’ll be able to celebrate and congratulate them later on after school.

    Many thanks,

    Mrs Robbins
