Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
Good Afternoon,
If you are looking to purchase school photos online, it needs to be completed before Midnight on Sunday 17th October, for free delivery to school.
You can still order after this date, but there will be a delivery charge to your home.
Many Thanks,
Mrs Reardon
Afternoon all,
It’s Diwrnod Shwmae on Friday so we are having a special day in school!
The children don’t have to wear uniform but can wear their own clothes as long as they’ve got something on that’s either red, green or white.
No need to worry or buy anything new. I’m sure you’ll all have something with one of those colours at home even if it’s only a pair of socks or a hair bobble! I’m pretty sure I’ve got a red t shirt in my wardrobe somewhere!
There’s no donation, this is just for fun whilst we practise our Welsh even more than usual and do some Welsh art.
Thanks so much,
Mrs Robbins
Morning all,
Our PTA are running a competition as outlined in the poster on our newsletters page of this website. I told all the children about it during a special assembly with the PTA last Friday afternoon.
They will all come home today with the sheet for them to enter the competition.
Many thanks,
Mrs Robbins

For the attention of Y6 parents:
Newbridge School is running a second virtual open evening presentation for all Year 6 parents on Thursday 14th October at 5.00pm. This is for any parents who were not able to attend the first. The meeting is not mandatory but is an opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the school or to hear the most up-to-date information about the school. Eg Exam results, curriculum, expectations etc. There are also videos on the Transition section of our school website. If you would like to attend the meeting, please log in using the MS Teams link below. Kind regards, Mr Thompson (Newbridge School Headteacher)

Below is a quick questionnaire about your child's return to school. We would be very grateful if you could take a minute to fill it out. MESSAGE FROM THE LOCAL AUTHORITY
Did you know the symptoms of Covid-19 have widened?
They now include a cough, high temperature, loss or change to smell or taste, fatigue, muscle and body aches, headache, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting and diarrhoea.
It's important to rule out Covid-19 by booking in for a quick and free PCR test at one of our many mobile testing units.
Relying on a lateral flow test when you have any of these symptoms could lead to a false result. To book a test, please call 119 or book a test via https://gov.wales/test-trace-protect-coronavirus
