  • Blended Learning Questionnaire

    Wed 10 Mar 2021
    Good afternoon all,
As a school we are always keen to hear the opinions and get an insight in to how parents and other stakeholders feel about learning in our school. With school happening remotely through blended learning, we would like to hear from everyone on how they feel the school has dealt with the unique and challenging circumstances we have faced, and find out how your child has coped with online and blended learning.
We would be very grateful it you could take a few short minutes to complete this questionnaire so we can reflect on what we do as a school and continue to support your child in the future.
Please click on the link attached to respond to the survey.
    Many thanks in advance
    Mr Regulski

The grant is for £125, with the exception of year 7 (£200) and can be used to purchase school uniform, sports kit and kit for activities outside of school for your child. The terms and conditions also now allow the purchase of laptops or tablets to assist with remote learning.

Yn ddiweddar, mae Llywodraeth Cymru wedi ymestyn Grant Datblygu Disgyblion – Mynediad 2020/2021 ar gyfer disgyblion sy'n gymwys i gael prydau ysgol am ddim ar hyn o bryd tan 30 Mehefin 2021, gan ychwanegu blynyddoedd ysgol ychwanegol (blynyddoedd 1 a 5 mewn ysgolion cynradd a blynyddoedd 8, 9 ac 11 mewn ysgolion uwchradd). Mae'r cyllid hwn ar gyfer disgyblion sy'n gymwys i gael prydau ysgol am ddim ar hyn o bryd, ac nid yw'n ymestyn i gynnwys y disgyblion sy'n cael prydau ysgol am ddim dan drefniadau ar gyfer eu hamddiffyn wrth bontio. Dyma'r blynyddoedd ysgol sydd bellach yn gymwys tan 30 Mehefin 2021:

    YSGOLION CYNRADD
    Derbyn, Blwyddyn 1, Blwyddyn 3, Blwyddyn 5

    YSGOLION UWCHRADD
    Blynyddoedd 7, 8, 9, 10 ac 11

Mae modd i deuluoedd disgyblion cymwys gael un Grant Datblygu Disgyblion – Mynediad YN UNIG ar gyfer y disgybl hwnnw yn ystod blwyddyn ysgol. Felly, os ydych chi eisoes wedi gwneud cais am y grant hwn ar gyfer disgyblion yn y dosbarth derbyn, blwyddyn 3, blwyddyn 7 a blwyddyn 10 ers 27 Gorffennaf 2020, nid ydych chi'n gymwys i gael rhagor o gyllid yn ystod y flwyddyn ysgol hon.

Grant am £125 yw hwn, ac eithrio blwyddyn 7 (£200), ac mae modd ei ddefnyddio i brynu gwisg ysgol, dillad chwaraeon a dillad ar gyfer gweithgareddau gweithgareddau y tu allan i'r ysgol i’ch plentyn. Mae'r telerau ac amodau nawr yn caniatáu prynu gliniaduron neu dabledi i helpu gyda dysgu o bell.

Bydd manylion am sut i wneud cais am y grant hwn yn cael eu cyhoeddi ar wefan Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Caerffili yr wythnos yn cychwyn 22 Mawrth 2021.

Nid yw Llywodraeth Cymru wedi cadarnhau eto pa grwpiau ysgol sy'n gallu gwneud cais am y grant hwn ar gyfer mis Medi 2021. Bydd rhagor o fanylion yn cael eu cyhoeddi ar wefan Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Caerffili erbyn 15 Gorffennaf 2021. Nid oes modd gwneud cais cyn y dyddiad hwn.

  • Message From Mrs Robbins - Regarding KS2 Returning to School

    Tue 09 Mar 2021
    Good morning all,

Just to keep you up to date, all of the KS2 teachers are in school this week preparing for a full return of pupils next week.

We are waiting for confirmation from the Minister but at the moment we believe that all KS2 children will return together on Monday March 15th.

The bubble times will remain as they were before. Hot dinners will also be available and must be paid for at the beginning of the week as previously.

If you have any questions please message your child’s teacher or give the office a ring.

We can’t wait to have our school full of children again.

We will continue to strictly adhere to our risk assessment and appreciate your support with this.

I shall be in touch again near the end of the week.

Let’s hope there’s brighter times ahead, at last.

    Many thanks,

    Mrs Robbins
