Miss Clark’s Class
Good afternoon all,
I have just been notified of a positive Covid case in Miss Clark’s class.
Please can I ask you all to be extra vigilant with the children and if they display any symptoms please book a PCR test as soon as possible.
Any children who are unwell should be kept at home until they are better.
Thank you very much,
Mrs Robbins
Dear all,
We will be doing school photographs next Friday
(October 1st).
These will be taken by tempest and all orders will need to be made online.
We will only be doing individual photographs this year.
Many thanks,
Mrs Robbins
Good afternoon all,
I’m so sorry that I haven’t been able to update you regarding Covid.
As per my previous messages, we have had a positive case in Mrs Helkvist class, Mrs Seamons class and Mrs Reid/Mrs Moyle class.
What should have happened is that I should have been contacted by TTP who would then advise me on what to do and help me with identifying close contacts and moving forward.
Unfortunately I have not been contacted, despite chasing up with emails and by phone.
There has been a sharp rise in the number of cases in Caerphilly and it seems the system is struggling with this. This has been the case across lots of schools within our borough.
All we can continue to do is be very vigilant, especially within those classes, of signs and symptoms of Covid. Please get your children tested with a PCR test if they become unwell. Please keep your children at home if they are unwell.
It’s very frustrating for us, trying to work without clear advice and support but please be assured that we will continue to update you whenever we have new information to share and are always available to try to answer your questions.
Kindest regards,
Mrs Robbins
Mrs Helkvist's Class
I am writing to let you know that there has been a positive case of Covid identified in your children's class.
TTP will be working with the school to identify close contacts of the positive case and a ‘warn and inform’ letter will be sent to them. Children can attend school as normal; however, we would ask that you remain vigilant and if your child develops any symptoms of COVID 19, please keep him / her home and book a PCR test.
I can reassure you that we are continuing to operate to our risk assessment.
I will be advising you further tomorrow and it may well be that all children and staff in those classes will be strongly advised to book a PCR test.
As soon as I have more information I will let you know.
Many thanks,
Mrs Robbins

We are in the process of updating all of our children’s One Page Profiles. In order to make these as personal as we can, we would like your support.
Today we will be sending home a sheet of paper where we would like you to include as much detail as possible. One side will be to show us what you like and admire about your child and the back of the sheet is about what’s important to your child.
Together with the class teacher’s input, your child’s One Page Profile will be as personal as it can be.
Many thanks
Mrs Tomlins

Any problems, please contact the school office.
Have a lovely weekend.
