Christmas dinner day ❤️

It is Christmas Jumper day on Friday. I have arranged for a photographer to come in and take a picture of all the children in their jumpers. You can buy a 7x5 gloss print of this for £2.

In order to have this by the end of term you would need to send the £2 in on Friday in an envelope clearly marked with your child’s name, class and stating ‘ Jumper Photo’.

Just an idea but you could buy a few and put them in a nice frame. They’d make lovely Xmas gifts!

Message from our PTA:

This week the PTA will be hosting a raffle. Letters will be sent home with children today along with a slip that can be returned with money. There will also be sellers on the yard at pick up times so please bring change if you can to buy tickets.

Tickets are £1 each and must be purchased by Monday 13th December. Winners will be drawn on Wednesday 15th December so that they can be collected before the end of term.

There are a number of exciting prizes on offer including:

We would like to thank you all for the support you have given the PTA this year. Money raised from this raffle will go towards new Astro turf for the infant yard and new resources for Breakfast club.

We really hope that next year will give us more opportunities to raise money for the school. If you are able to give a little bit of time to help at future events please get in touch with us via the PTA Facebook page or school reception. You don’t have to attend every meeting or event but the more of us that can work together the more events and money we can raise!

In the meantime we wish you all a very happy and healthy Christmas and New Year.

Good morning,

Please can I remind you all that if your child is unwell a lateral flow test will not give a true result.

The lateral flow tests were not meant to test unwell children/adults.

We’ve had a number of messages this morning where parents/carers have said their child is unwell but they’ve had a negative lateral flow.

If your child is unwell with symptoms a PCR test needs to be booked.

We have received the following message from Zion Church;

Zion Church are doing a Messy Christmas Trail around Cwmcarn this Wednesday 1st December between 3.30pm and 5.00pm.  There are several QR codes placed around some of the shops in Cwmcarn which have jumbled letters to a word.  The last letter will be found at Zion where families can drop in for the final clue, prizes (when they have found all of the missing letters), some crafts and coffee / juice.  This trail will be up and running until the 11th December so if any children would like to do it between 2nd and 11th they can drop into Zion at 4pm on 11th December to get the last clue, a prize and join in with the Messy Church.
