Reminder Regarding Lateral Flow Tests if Unwell

Good morning,

Please can I remind you all that if your child is unwell a lateral flow test will not give a true result.

The lateral flow tests were not meant to test unwell children/adults.

We’ve had a number of messages this morning where parents/carers have said their child is unwell but they’ve had a negative lateral flow.

If your child is unwell with symptoms a PCR test needs to be booked.
