Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
Dear all,
I’d like to wish you all a Happy Easter and restful break.
To our families celebrating Ramadan - Ramadan Mubarak.
We look forward to welcoming all our families back to school on Monday April 17th.
Dojo will not be monitored over the next fortnight.
Many thanks 🐥
We are all really looking forward to our special Easter service in school today.
The children have worked hard learning special songs for Easter and Rev Marion will be joining us.
They have all learnt how to sign one of the songs. Why don’t you ask them to show you later?
There might even be some chocolate involved!
Mrs Robbins
Good afternoon,
From April 17th a school dinner for pupils in Y3-6 will be £2.30.
This will however be the last term you pay as from September 2023 all Primary Children will be eligible for a free meal.
However, a plea from all of us ….
If you are on low or no income please still apply and register for free school meal support, even if you are currently getting free meals.
Firstly, because you can also get help with uniform costs and other costs.
Secondly, the school gets a pot of money based on how many families have low income so if families don’t sign up and we don’t get that pot of money it would make a big difference to the school.
You can apply for free school meals on Caerphilly’s website.
Many thanks,
Mrs Robbins
Good afternoon
Please find attached some useful CAMHS Wellbeing Workshops taking place between the 3rd - 12th April.
All school staff have been busy developing their knowledge of Autism and have achieved their ASD Certificates.
This week, all pupils in the school will be having age appropriate sessions to develop understanding.
School closed to children today.
Have a lovely weekend!
Please help!
As part of our ongoing mission to improve our playground time and create ‘purposeful play’ opportunities, we are looking for donations of children’s scooters, trikes or go-kart style cars. They need to be in very good condition, clean and safe.
We are also looking for donations of child size bike helmets please. Without any damage!
Your support is always gratefully appreciated, thank you!
Mrs Seamons

Just another reminder that the strikes were postponed so children should be in school all of this week.
