Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
Morning,
Just to remind you about our Jubilee Celebrations tomorrow.
We are really looking forward to it and fingers crossed it will be dry!
Mrs Robbins
My name is Mrs William’s and in September I’m going to be teaching Y4,5 and 6 on PPA days.
When I’m at home I love to hang out with my two daughters and their Guinea pigs! I love keeping fit, going to the gym and I enjoy lots of walks in the countryside!
In the summer I’m getting a new puppy which is so exciting.
I really can’t wait to join you in September and look forward to meeting you all.
Good morning,
My name is Miss Mansell and in September I’ll be teaching Class 4 which will have some Y2 and some Y3 children.
I love caring for animals and I have a very cute dog named Bonnie. In my free time I love baking cakes and singing along to my favourite songs. I’ve taught myself to play the piano and guitar and enjoy learning new music.
I’m so excited to join your school and cannot wait for us to learn lots of new things together!
Morning all,
After a busy couple of weeks and some interviews I am able to share with you the teachers for the new classes in September.
As usual, most of our classes are mixed as we are not allowed to have more than 30 in a class and most of our years groups have over this number.
All of the children will have a chance to spend the day with their new teacher and find out which class they will be in at the end of June.
The classes will be as follows:
Nursery and Reception - Miss Pyle
Reception and Y1 - Mrs Seamons (Deputy Head)
Y1 and Y2 - Mrs Moyle and Miss Coombes
Y2 and Y3 - Miss Mansell
Y3 - Miss Lloyd
Y4 - Mr Lewis
Y5 and Y6 - Miss Clark
Y5 and Y6 - Mr Regulski
Mrs Williams, another new staff member, will also be joining us 2 days a week to also teach in Y4-6 when the teachers have their 1/2 day planning time.
SNRB - Mrs Tomlins
Kindest regards,
Mrs Robbins
Headteacher
Afternoon all,
Please can I gently remind you ( mainly Y5/6) that children are not allowed to wear lots of jewellery to school. We allow a watch and one sensible earring.
This last week with Y5/6 we’ve noticed a lot of bracelets, rings, multiple earrings and necklaces creeping in.
We would really appreciate your help with this.
We had our talk from the Head of Newbridge last week and their policy is the same so this is helping to get them into good habits for their next school too!
Thank you,
Mrs Robbins
Morning all,
Next Friday, the day before half term, we are having a special Jubilee day!
The children can wear whatever they like to school as long as something they wear is either red, white or blue.
In the morning all the classes will be doing Jubilee activities and then after dinner all of the classes will be going to the park to enjoy an afternoon of fun.
Please could you pack your children an extra drink and some little treats for example some crisps, a piece of fruit, a cake and some sweets so that we have an afternoon mini treat picnic whilst we are there. The teachers are then planning some games and activities for the park.
If it rains we will have our fun afternoon in our classrooms.
This will be a lovely way to end our half term.
Many thanks,
Mrs Robbins
Message from our PTA:
Hi! The children will be coming out this week with empty cups for our Jubilee themed cup tombola.
Please help us raise money for the PTA fund for the school by filling these cups with a few little gifts (sweets, chocolate, pens and pencils etc) and decorating them with a Jubilee theme!
All cups need to be returned to school please by Tuesday 24th May.
The children will have an opportunity to win them back on Friday 27th May for £1. Thank you for your support. Xx
Morning all,
We are really looking forward to this week as we hold KS2 class assemblies! It’s lovely to be able to have parents/carers back in school and you’ll also be able to have a look at your children’s books.
All the dates went out on the newsletter.
If you need a reminder please send your child’s teacher a message or ring the office later today.
For now we are limiting class assemblies to 2 adults per child in line with our risk assessment.
I’m really looking forward to seeing them all!
Mrs Robbins
Good morning,
If you have time we would really appreciate you answering a short survey. It only has a few questions:

Good morning all,
The local authority have given all schools guidance regarding who collects children from school and asked us to tighten up on these procedures.
It won't apply to most of you, as I know nearly all our children are collected by adults.
However, going forward primary school children will not be able to be collected by a sibling under the age of 16 unless the school has written permission from the parent/carer.
We are happy to help with this, so if there are any of you who regularly get a sibling to collect the children and this sibling is under 16 please can you put this in writing to the school making it clear you give permission for this to happen.
If you have any questions or need any help please ring the office and we will be only too happy to help.
Many thanks,
Mrs Robbins
