  • Message From School Nursing Team

    Tue 14 Jan 2025

    From the School Nursing Team;

The School Nursing Immunisation Service recently visited the school to administer the nasal flu spray.

If your child did not receive their vaccine in school, it is not too late, we are holding regular catch-up clinics.

With winter pressures anticipated for the NHS, it is more important than ever that those who are eligible for a free flu vaccine get vaccinated to help prevent them becoming
seriously unwell and protect the NHS this winter. Vaccinating children not only protects them, but also older relatives, the wider community and the NHS.

Parents/Guardians can turn up to any clinic with their child/children, no appointment is needed.

For a full list of clinics please visit: https://abuhb.nhs.wales/vaccinations/vaccination-pop-up-clinics/ and select Community Vaccination Clinics.
The clinics are also available to any child/young person who is home-schooled or in alternative education provision.
If you would like to discuss the nasal flu vaccine or have any questions, please contact the School Nursing Service on 01633 431685.

  • Parent / Carer Governor Vacancy

    Wed 08 Jan 2025

    Morning all,

We have a vacancy on our Governing Body for a parent/carer governor as one of our Governors has had to resign due to work commitments.

If you are interested in the role please give me a ring and I can tell you about the role and what it entails.

If more than one person comes forward it would go to all parents/carers for a ballot.

We really want to fill this role as its so important to have all of our school community represented on our Governing Body.

    Kindest regards,

    Mrs Beard-Robbins

  • Christmas Party & Panto

    Mon 16 Dec 2024

    Afternoon all,

For the Christmas party on Thursday all children can bring in a paper plate covered with cling film with a few snacks on it. We will be partying all of Thursday morning and we will still be giving the children lunch so just a few treats and a drink will be ideal. No fizzy drinks or family size packets please 🙏

For children going to the panto tomorrow they can bring a drink and one snack. They will be back in school by lunchtime. All children going to the panto need to be in school uniform.

Any children not going to the panto should still be in school tomorrow ☺️

Please let me know if you have any more questions.

    Many thanks all,

    Mrs Beard-Robbins
