Mrs Helkvist – Reception/Y1

Hi Everyone,

Class Two are coming to an end of their Muck, Mess and Mixtures project. I am sure some of you will give a sigh of relief although the children have fully immersed themselves in the concept- as you will have noticed from their uniforms at times... SORRY!

We have investigated, mixed, created and learned about so many aspects of the curriculum through play and exploration. Their faces have been a delight so I just wanted to put up a few photos to let you see how wonderful your children are as they learn. Please enjoy!

Reading has never been so messy but we loved the mucky, gooey words.

Sorry for the delay I had a technical hitch with the camera! I really hope you enjoyed the photographs... at last.

Now you can see why we had such fun and at times became a little messy. When you come in for the parent teacher consultations please check out our fabulous art work on the displays outside our room.

Just as a little reminder- our P.E. days are Tuesday and Thursday; please check your child has a 'T' shirt and shorts, and as the better weather approaches a pair of plimsolls for outdoor games would be brilliant.

Homework will continue to be sent out on a Monday and should be returned on a Friday to give time for the work to be marked and the new task set.

Our new project is 'Memory Box' so look out for your class letter and details of our curriculum coverage.
