Useful Information in a Nutshell
Reading Books: Please return to school every week on the day stated in your child's reading record. Please share your child's book and flashcards every evening with him/her.
Learning Logs: Homework will be sent home every Friday. please return to school with completed homework by the following Tuesday.
Library Books:Your child will choose a book to share with you for pleasure every Friday, to be returned to school the following Tuesday, with homework books.
Clothing and PE Kits: Please ensure that every item of your child's clothing is clearly labelled with his/ her name. Please label PE kits (white polo tops and black shorts), and send them into school in a bag for your child to keep on their coat peg for a whole half term.
We have all settled into our new class and we are making new friends.
We went on a very interesting walk to look for seasonal signs and treasures.
We have enjoyed going outside to investigate the seasons...
...looking at the clouds.
...and drawing around and measuring our shadows with Miss Blacker our student teacher.

Our new topic this half term is...
We had great fun learning all about beat and rhythm with Upbeat Dave. We were amazing drummers.
We are working hard to achieve 100 per cent attendance. Look at everyone in my class who achieved a 100 per cent attendance certificate for October! Wow! Llongyfarchiadau pawb!
We won the certificate for the best weekly attendance in the whole of the Foundation Phase- twice. I am so proud.
